Daniel McQuillan, Director, Regenerative Agriculture, Intrinsic Exchange Group

Daniel McQuillan is a seasoned agriculture and food systems specialist with nearly 15 years of experience in innovative finance and project management, nine of which were based internationally. For over a decade, Dan played a pivotal role at Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in Central America and Mexico, where he designed and launched their agriculture investment vehicle, Isidro. Isidro has committed $2 million in loans to ten portfolio enterprises across five countries, benefiting approximately 3,000 farmers. Additionally, Dan managed a $10 million agricultural livelihoods portfolio, reaching 25,000 coffee and grain farmers and establishing 900 farmer innovation sites. This effort led to an average 40% increase in food crop production and a 35% rise in farmer income.

Directly prior to IEG, Dan served as the Director for Agriculture and Innovative Finance at World Wildlife Fund, where he developed a landscape finance facility designed to accelerate farmers’ transitions to regenerative agriculture. Dan has also worked on ranches in Alberta, Colorado, and Honduras, and is an avid horseman. He holds a B.A. from McGill University, and a Master of Development Practice and a certificate in Tropical Agriculture from the University of Florida.
