Paul Hardy — Chief of Staff

Paul Hardy serves as Chief of Staff to IEG’s CEO, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit conservation sector with World Wildlife Fund and The Nature Conservancy. His various roles spanned managing a nature preserve on the US-Mexico border to organization-wide strategic and conservation program planning. As WWF’s lead for managing its relationship with the Green Climate Fund, Paul was responsible for securing more than $110 million in grant financing and ensuring compliance for a project portfolio of $340 million in GCF grant and co-financing. He has formed, managed, and advised partnerships between the NGO sector and public agencies at local, state, national, and international levels.

Paul holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Natural Resources from the University of Michigan. He completed his undergraduate work at Tufts University, earning a BA in International Relations.
